One of the most awaited activities of Fiesta Pilar is the Regatta de Vinta!
This is held the Sunday before the Feast of our Lady of the Pilar at the R.T. Lim Boulevard.

It is the most colorful, picturesque and exciting Fiesta activity and one time where we get to see one of the main icons of Zamboanga City, the Vinta!
Today, October 7, 2012 is the Regatta and just before it started at 8 a.m., I was able get some scenes...

 |
the vintas are ready an hour before the Regatta and all lined up for the Race! |

| spectators are lined up at the R.T.Lim Boulevard waiting for the festivities to start! |

| the Vintas are assigned numbers |
I had to come back later to see more of the Regatta activities!
