FOURTH PHILIPPINE INTERNATIONAL PYROMUSICAL COMPETITION 2013

Imagine, it is the fourth year for the Philippine International Pyromusical Competition at the SM Mall of Asia!
... And it is my third year to watch this fabulous event!
Taiwan's Yung Feng Fireworks

Here is the Schedule of the FOURTH Philippine International Pyromusical Competition

These are the Past Winners of the Competition:
First Philippine International Pyromusical Competition
2010 winners:
1st Place:         United Kingdom’s Jubilee Fireworks
 2nd Place:       Australia’s Fireworx
3rd Place:        Japan’s Tamaya Kitahara Fireworks

Second Philippine International Pyromusical Competition
2011 winners:
1st Place:        China’s Liu Yang Jinsheng Fireworks
2nd Place:      United Kingdom’s Smart Pyrotechnics, Ltd.
3rd Place:       Japan’s Tamaya Kitahara Fireworks, Co.

Third Philippine International Pyromusical Competition
2012 winners:
1st Place:       Canada’s Fireworks Spectaculars Canada
2nd Place:     Finland’s Oy Pyroman and Australia’s Fireworx Inc.
 3rd Place:      Netherlands’ Royal Fireworks

Spain's Brunchu Fireworks Experience

If you wish to save, you can just stay anywhere near the SM Mall of Asia and view the sky!

If you wish to find a seat, there are seats costing P300.00 and P500.00 and the special seats with dinner costing P1500.00.

But, if you would have dinner anyway, I would suggest the best view would be from the second floor, along Abe's Restaurant to Watami Japanese Restaurant where you get the panoramic view of the Pyromusical event including view of the ship which would not be visible in the lower floors.

The dinner would still cost about P1300.00 to 1500.00 per person consummable.

It is a very enjoyable experience especially if you are with special people to share it with!!!

P.S. These are the links to the Third Philippine International Pyromusical Competition last 2012  which I posted last year...

  4. That's very informative. It is indeed wiser to get a seat where your view is unobstructed. Great tip. My kids love fireworks but we've never watched a pyromusical show.

  6. That sure is a fun experience! I have tried to watch it from afar, but the traffic going out from the vicinity is quite horrible.

  10. I love the first photo! You got great seats, quite expensive though.

    1. Actually, yes, it is expensive! But, the only reason, I tried to get that seat is because, I really wanted to use my DSLR with a tripod and place it "strategically"! If I wasn't so interested in taking photographs, I would just stay on the side and watch the sky!

  12. I have never watched any of these shows yet. Hmmm... pwede na yun 300, magbabaon na lang kami lol! I hope we could get to watch the remaining fireworks displays.

  13. I think you don't even have to pay, if it is okay with you to just sit at the ledges or sidewalks... P300 is if you want to be seated.

    1. We also don't like accidents with fireworks and we experienced a really "grabe" one last Jan. 28, 2011 where we had to evacuate all the patients from the 160 bed hospital because fireworks inside a 40 footer and another set in a 20 footer van exploded. Here are the links:

  21. This is really one event that is worth going to and would help boost our tourism. On hindsight, the pollution from all the fireworks could be a problem for the environment.

  28. I remember attending our first one. It was magical because i watched it with my then 5 year old son. He was so amazed! His smile was unforgettable.

  29. I would love to have my daughter see this. Fireworks will bring a smile to anyone's face but my daughter will surely shriek in delight.

  34. I just had a chance to watch Pyromusical last year. We have waited for an hour standing before it started, but it was worth waiting din.

    ReplyDelete
  35. If Im not really busy I really want to go to a pyromusical!

    ReplyDelete
  36. I have not watched a single pyromusical. My environmentalist friend is not comfortable with fireworks because they are pollutants.

  37. it was great watching it for the first few times. we used to go to my husband's cousin's resto by the bay and watch the fireworks and then we pretty much grew tired of it. lol.
