GRANDMOM'S NOODLES IN BANGKOK

I guess Thai people also respect their grandmothers so much that delicious noodles usually are attributed to them!

Of all the roadside restaurants in the Rangnam area near the Pullman Bangkok King Power Mall, we chose to eat at Grandmom's Noodle which is just across the Streetfood stalls I featured earlier.

I don't know if this sign attracted us, but I ate here again later that evening and this sign attracted my friend.

As we enter the restaurant, we see the lady making the noodles.

We entered in the little foodhouse and saw many students and some tourists.

The Menu.
Interesting comment: Out of order!
From Wikipedia:
Tom yum or tom yam (Lao: ຕົ້ມຍຳ [tôm ɲam]; Thai: ต้มยำ, [tôm jam]) is a spicy clear soup typical in Laos andThailand. Tom yum is widely served in neighbouring countries such as Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia, and has been popularised around the world.
Literally, the words "tom yum" are derived from two Tai words: "tom" and "yam". "Tom" refers to boiling process (soup, in this case). "Yam" refers to a kind of Lao and Thai spicy and sour salad. Thus, "tom yum" is a Lao and Thai hot and sour soup. Indeed, tom yum is characterised by its distinct hot and sour flavours, with fragrant herbs generously used in the broth. The basic broth is made of stock and fresh ingredients such as lemon grass, kaffir limeleaves, galangal, lime juice, fish sauce and crushed chili peppers.

We ate here again for dinner with friend Muukda.

Grandmom's Noodles at night.

We loved the food here and I got used to the Thai spicy taste!
I think I ate here three times during our stay.
I guess it was the most presentable place in the area, too.
And, as I always say "The food always taste better with good company!"

    1. Yup, Osie... no choices here! But, whatever we eat, our friends definitely improve the taste of the food!
