STREET FOOD IN BANGKOK

One of the "must do" things suggested in Thailand is experiencing Bangkok's food streets!

From the Amazing Thailand brochure, I read that roadside dining is considered a way of life in Bangkok and street food has fascinated, nourished and satisfied those looking for good taste and quality food. The street food stalls dot almost every street in Bangkok and open most of the day.

As soon as we arrived in Bangkok in midafternoon, we immediately headed to the food streets to eat!

We didn't necessarily go to the toplisted street food areas, but we just chose the one closest to the Pullman Hotel in Rangnam Road, where we were staying. We were quite hungry already!

The food stalls offer a wide variety of street delights like pancakes, homemade foods, large pork slabs with chicharon-like skin and roasted chicken and ducks and I just couldn't help but click my camera away so I can share with you images of a strong facet of Thai culture, the street food in Bangkok!

Finally, we stopped by this foodstall and felt like kids tasting the fishballs, squidballs, beefballs and the like... so yummy, but most of the sauce is spicy (which I like) so be careful for those who are not into spicy!

I guess the Thai government has already made sure of the cleanliness in these areas. Everyone eats street food, including tourists and people of all walks of life and I don't think anybody ever complained. In fact, we have always heard of high praises for these roadside food stalls.

They say you haven't experienced Thailand if you haven't tried street food!

Aren't we enjoying ourselves?!?!?!
